Soon, local gas stations may have electric vehicle chargers for electric vehicles near the gas pumps. An electric vehicle station is a part of a fuel station that distributes electric energy to electric vehicles which are to be recharged, for example, plug-in electric vehicles such as electric cars, plug-in hybrids, and neighborhood electric vehicles.
One of the most important facets of owning an Electric Vehicle is the dependency on electric vehicle chargers at gas stations. Since all electric cars do not have a gas tank, instead of filling your car with gas, you can simply fuel your car up by going to its charging station to plug it.
At homes or workplaces, there are onboard converters found in some electric vehicles that can be plugged into an electrical outlet. Some other vehicles require the use of an electric vehicle charging station while others use an electric vehicle charging station that provides services for the safety and proper functioning of the vehicle.

TYPES OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGERS
i. Level 1 EV chargers: These particular chargers use a 120V AC plug and they can be plugged into standard outlets. Level 1 chargers do not need to be installed with other equipment, unlike other chargers. Level 1 chargers are often used at home and can deliver 2-5 miles of range in every hour of charging. They are the least expensive chargers available in electric vehicle charging.
ii. Level 2 EV chargers: This types of chargers are used for both residential and commercial charging stations. They can use different types of plugs; they use a 240 V plug for residential purposes and 208 V for commercial purposes. Level 2 chargers do not have an easy installation process unlike level 1 chargers but require a professional electrician to do the installation. They can be installed with other equipment like a solar panel system.
iii. Level 3 chargers (also known as DC Fast Chargers): These types of chargers can render 60-100 miles of range in just twenty minutes of charging for your electric vehicle. They are only used in commercial and industrial settings and they require a highly specialized, high powered equipment for proper installation and maintenance.
