There are pros and cons to each – so start with evaluating which model would be best for your lifestyle. Understanding that there is a difference between the two vehicle types is the first step, especially since the terms “electric” and “hybrid” are sometimes used interchangeably. When it comes to the differences, each has a fundamentally different powertrain. An electric car uses electric motors to power the wheels, with no added gasoline or diesel engine, while a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid is fitted with both a battery and electric motor. Insider tip: you’ll often hear battery electric vehicles referred to as BEVs or all-electric vehicles, this means they are completely powered by batteries and do not have gasoline engines.

Thanks for the tips Michal (by the way how is your name pronounced? just curious). I would prefer a hybrid as I feel like in my area they aren't a lot of public charging ports and what would happen if I run out of battery in a place with the nearest charging port miles away.

Compare the best hybrid vehicle you prefer against the electric vehicle. Compare everything, the price, the specs, etc, etc. Choose the one you won't regret buying! Read reviews about the cars in specific, first hand experiences and all that. Or even do a point system where you put points on all the features you do like. Hope that helps.

i think i shall go for a vehicle which have both options hybrid and electric.

electric vehicles have less speed while using diesel or gasoline is a issue of cost.

so i want both in one vehicle so i can use as per my requirement.
